As a member of HRACC of the Ministry of Tourism Government of India, Association maintained active participation through nominated members for inspection of hotels all over India, deciding classification and re-classifications of Star Categories at regular intervals. During the year 2008-09, Association has participated in the HRACC inspection of as many as 33 hotels from December 2008 to August 2009
Recommendations made by Hotel & Restaurant Approval and Classification Committee (HRACC), in respect of classification / Re-classification of Star Category have been examined by the Government whose decision is hereby announced.
